Pac-Man FINALLY a Cowboy?
It seems that this deal is pretty much wrapped up, if it isn’t already. ESPN’s Ed Werder reported earlier today that the Titans agreed in principle to a trade for suspended CB, Adam “Pac-Man” Jones for Dallas’s 4th round pick in this Saturday’s NFL Draft.

Sounds like Dallas got off easy, because I believe this guy is worth at least a second and third round pick. Well, we all remember the last time a powerhouse got off easy in a trade by only having to pay up a 4th-round pick. Randy Moss to New England from Oakland was the trade last year.
Could we see records be broken in Big D this 2008 NFL season? Speculate for me, I’m too tired. LOL! Take care!
BTW- I absloutely LOVE Pacman the game!

I’m sure that Adam Pacman Jones will be made to feel welcome at many of Dallas’s finest adult entertainment establishments. And I’m sure that one or two of the pole monkeys will only be all too willing to service him.
A home away from hom for Pacman….
A Cowboys’ cheerleader’s part time job.
And no doubt Jones’ ass will be in tow when he’s not on the playing or practice field.

Hey Greenie good to see you around RSB. Glad you came…
This just doesn’t sit well. I thought there was a sense of pride playing for America’s Team, and they would want guys like Tank Johnson and Pacman Jones playing for America’s Team? Shouldn’t America’s Team set a better example? Just my thoughts.
It remains to be seen whether Pacman can be an asset for the Cowboys this upcoming season.

Didn’t the Eagles steal TO for a fourth rounder as well?
If someone can get Adam to grow up and break his bad habits he could be a huge part of the Cowboys success. He has the skills, he was a dominant part of the WVU defense/special teams. But sometimes when you give stupid people a bag full of money (insert name of Powerball lottery winner here) they do stupid things.
He needed a change in scenery, he also needs to change the people around him.

The Cowboys got Jones for a steal . The problem is however at the first sign of trouble all the money that they’ll have signed him for will go up in smoke and too’ll the draft picks that they’d wasted on getting him.

First order of business, I wrote a review of your blog at Blogged.com - get off your ass and write one for my blog.
The Cowboys came away like bandits on this move. Financially it’s a mere drop in the bucket and a fourth-rounder is probably going to end up as a back-up and special teams player. So for a fourth-round pick they get a top 10 first round pick and fill a definite need.
Probably changes how they draft and if they use both first round picks. I don’t think they. I think they trade one of the picks.

Low risk move for them. If he works out, it’s a bargain. If he screws up, they have lost very little…and won’t be out anything when he’s cut from the team.
Did Miracle just suggest that he’d better off being surrounded by the different people of Dallas? That’s like trying to kick a weed addiction by touring with Willie Nelson.

Pacman can’t make life any worse for the Cowboys than he did for the Titans, can he?

Mike all isn’t complete with regard to the deal. As it appears that the NFLPA will be seeking to make sure that Jones doesn’t forego part of signing bonus with regard to his original contract with the Titans. The Players’ Association feels that it’ll set a dangerous precedence with regard to players being traded. In the case of Jones it was him seeking the trade via the two parties in negotiating.
