May you and the family enjoy the Mother’s Day celebration and the mother’s in particular !
Well the Magic came up short though it wasn’t for the lack of trying . But now their inexperience is really beginning to show. The Pistons showed why it is they’ve been in this postion before countless times.
They close out the games when it counts and they don’t waste the chances when handed to ‘em on a silver platter .
Well, I think we can look at this as a building year for the Magic. They finally won a playoff series for the first time in 12 years, and we gave one of the best team sin NBA history a good challenge. ‘08-’09, or ‘09-’10 at the latest, we will be in great position to win a title.
greenspire In Howard , Lewis and Turkoglu they’ve got the building blocks of sound foundation for the future. But it’s now up to Otis Smith and Stan Van Gundy to now go out and obtain the remaining pieces that’ll make the team a competitive one.
Put the pieces around Lewis , Turkoglu and Howard then this team’ll be a success !
Greenspire And what are the Magic going to give up in return ? I for one don’t think that Otis Smith is quite prepared to take that sort of leap of faith.
Another option scorer besides Howard, Lewis and Turkoglu is most certainly needed. But I doubt that Iverson would be the answer. Also at the point Nelson isn’t the answer by any stretch of the imagination. He’s so liable that it’s becoming a joke !

The best thing that Van Gundy and GM Otis Smith can do is to build the team expediently around the real assets that they’ve already got in their possession. Howard, Turkoglu and Lewis , then move on from there.

Yeah, someone on FOX suggested us going after Iverson in the off-season. Sounds great to me!
I wonder who we coulad take in the draft?

Yeah, I doubt we could deal anyone less than Dwight Howard for him, and I’m not prepared to get rid of Super-Man!
Huh. Well, free agency and the Draft are sure to have some stars.
Take care!
